Between work, lectures, writing midterm papers and presentations, I’ve still found the time to daydream about my next big adventure. My husband and I were kicking around the ideas of exploring the Far East with a trip to Maldives, maybe venturing down to the jungles of Costa Rica, hopping across the pond to London or heading west to the land of Southern California.
There’s a shorter list for the places that I don’t want to go. But I really think that I would travel anywhere.
The first option is REALLY expensive but ballin’ (synonym: awesome).
The second option is doable and a rainforest excursion would be in order.
The third is closest in proximity, similar to New York and close to the top of my list of places to visit – but it’s a bit pricey.
And the fourth option is, well, it’s Disneyland. I might just be a kid trapped in an adult’s body so Disneyland might weigh more heavily that you’d think.
Oh and the trip would be to celebrate our five-year anniversary next July – so this would be a trip designated for just the two of us. :) We haven’t been on a “solo” vacation (meaning just me and hubby) since our honeymoon. No complaints here at all – but it was weird to realize that all the trips we’ve taken have been with friends or family. The more the merrier but this time we’re going to be exclusive. However, if we do decide to go to the west coast (hubby has never been), it would include a brief visit with a couple of dear friends that live out there.
With both of us in school, money plays a big part in our decision-making. It would be nice to have a vacation where we can also feel rewarded for all of our hard work.
Decisions, decisions. If you have any other suggestions, all ideas are welcome. Either way, we’re planning to celebrate with some sort of trip. That’s the way we roll.

All sound exciting for the travel bug in you. I vote California Land! You’ve got beaches, nice weather, romantic sunsets and heart pumping rides at Universal Studios & Disney Land to boot. If you really want you could pull off a ride into forest & Up into the mountains in SoCal too. (plus the stop w family & friends!) can’t beat that for a Love Tank over flowing! Sounds like fun. Where ever you end up as long & you & your Best friend are together it is all good! ; )
Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
